High‑Speed Automatic Case Erector for Packaging Lines
This state-of-the-art packaging equipment is an automatic case erector that has been built for the highest production rates and most challenging production environment’s demands. This unit creates perfect four-sided corrugated shipping boxes in under 2.5 seconds from flat cardboard blanks. It features an incredibly strong and durable construction to ensure dependable continuous operation with very little downtime. This intelligent system considerably improves your workflow by providing a seamless integration of these systems to improve your production line efficiency, as well as provide unparalleled speed and stability during primary packaging operations.
With the use of an automated machine, it has many features like small footprint, automated blank magazine, vacuum-sucking box opening, and servo-operated forming station; this machine also accommodates a large variety of case sizes (customizable), and there is also an optional automatic tape sealing station. Therefore, this automated machine is best used in the following production lines: food & beverage; electronics; pharmaceuticals; and e-commerce fulfilment. In other words, this machine will ensure high-speed carton erection, thus improving the overall throughput of the operation by increasing production efficiency. What is an Automatic Case Erector?
A case erector, also known as a box former or case opening machine, automatically takes flattened cardboard sheets from a magazine, opens them into a rectangular box shape by squaring the bottom flaps and typically applying tape or glue, creating a continuous high-speed process. The machine is typically used at the beginning of a production line to supply filled, weighed, or sealed package to these stations. The case erector uses vacuum suction cups to open the case from the magazine; mechanical arms or pusher devices are then used to square the box; finally, a taping head or gluing machine applies the tape or glue to form a sealed case.
Our case erector can accommodate a range of case sizes (e.g., length 200-600 mm, width 150-400 mm, height 100-400 mm) with quick changeovers between sizes. As a non-standard customized solution, we will design this machine specifically for your case size, tape width, and line specifications.

The erector accommodates both single wall (i.e.: E-flute, B-flute, C-flute) and double wall (i.e.: BC-flute) corrugated cardboard, as long as they have a good surface for vacuum suction. To ensure you’re using the correct product, we test samples of your board.
The changeover process normally takes between three to five minutes based on the manual handwheel adjustments for width, height and length of the product. The selection of the recipe through the HMI is instantaneous.
It is possible to integrate optional modules with the erector, such as a case printer for inkjet, labeling and barcode scanning. Optional modules will generally be mounted on after the erector prior to the filling process.
A maximum of three erectors (to load blanks and clear jams) may be controlled by one operator, but machine operation is fully automatic after start-up.
