The MCCB semi-automatic testing bench for withstand voltage (dielectric strength) testing of MCCBs was designed with the capability to accommodate multiple frame sizes within one structure using a unique multiple frame design providing significant savings in equipment and time by using one platform with the ability to test seven different frame sizes of MCCBs; from 125/250A through 400/630/800/1000/1250A individually tested within one test setup. The 4 quick clamping systems and user friendly touch screen will allow the operator to perform each test cycle quickly. The results of all tests are displayed back to the operator using OK/NG (Pass/Fail) indications (Green for Pass/Red for Fail) eliminating guesswork and increasing throughput on high volume production lines. The Digital Display/HMI Panel provide real time display of test parameters and results to capture data accurately during every withstand voltage test cycle; ensuring every MCCB produced out of production has a reliable quality assurance.

What does the OK/NG indicator do?

When the MCCB successfully passes the high voltage withstand test (leakage current is less than the set limit), the indicator will have a green light. If it fails (leakage > the set limit), then it will show a red light and indicate either excess leakage or a dielectric breakdown. As such, the result is instantaneous and eliminates any operator error in interpreting the results.

How many frame sizes can this bench accommodate?

The standard bench comes with quick-change adapters for 7 frame sizes: 125 A, 250 A, 400 A, 630 A, 800 A 1000A, and 1250A. You can create custom adapters to fit additional frame sizes.

How long does it take to change between frame sizes?

The fast-, clamp system enables a change of table type to be done in less than five minutes compared to the traditional 15 to 30 minutes.

Is the test data recorded for traceability?

Correct. Live test parameters such as voltage, leakage current and duration will be displayed on HMI (Human Machine Interface). Optional recording of these test values can be recorded on USB or MES (Manufacturers Embedded System) interface for complete traceability.

What safety features protect the operator?

An interlock door encloses the testing area, meaning that high voltage cannot be operated while the interlock door is opened. There is also an emergency stop button provided.
