The automatic packing machine for hardware products is a versatile and high-speed device that processes and packs small metal items, fasteners, and all hardware items into durable plastic pouches. The machine uses a high precision vibratory bowl feeder or a multi-head weigh system, ensuring accurate count and dose of parts such as screws, bolts, rivets, and small metal pieces found with MCBs. The machine has a heavy-duty film feeding system to produce heavy-duty, puncture resistant plastic pouches to keep heavy or sharp edged metal parts secure. With a user-friendly PLC touch screen, an operator can easily change the bag size and packing speed. There are two configurations supported by the machine: pre-made pouches and form-fill-seal (FFS). What is a Hardware Automatic Packing Machine?

A hardware automated packing machine is specifically designed for packaging small metal parts, such as screws; nuts; bolts; washers; rivets; and electrical terminals. Unlike general-purpose bagging machines, this type of machine can handle sharp, heavy, or rough items without damaging the packaging material. The majority of machines use either a vibratory bowl feeder or a combination of weigh heads (multi-head) to accurately count or weigh an amount of part(s) before forming a bag from roll film (or using pre-made pouches) and filling, sealing, and optionally printing the batch/lot information onto the bag before it is finished. Each machine has reinforced jaws for sealing and is built with puncture-proof film handling to reduce the chance of packages breaking open. As a custom (non-standard) solution, the feeding system; the range of bag sizes will be custom-built to match the specific part dimensions; and the sealing method selected based on production requirements per day (output).

Unlike conventional packaging machinery, which can have problems with sharp/irregularly shaped metal pieces, this equipment utilizes a vibratory bowl and specialized tooling, which provide the capability to orient/count screws/bolts/rivets without getting stuck. Integrated traceability for quality control

Either an optional inkjet printer or an optional thermal transfer printer, capable of adding lot number, date and batch codes directly onto each pouch, is necessary for hardware distributors & OEM’s and provide full traceability as required by the end-user.
