The MCCB laboratory integrated testing bench combines three MCCB protection tests in a single unit: the magnetic trip test (instantaneous), thermal calibration (time-delay), and long-term calibration (long-time-delay). One test function is active at a time, and the bench covers a wide output range — AC300–10000A for instantaneous testing, AC100–2000A for time-delay, and AC100–1000A for long-time-delay — so a single bench serves your full molded case circuit breaker range instead of three separate test stations.

The bench ships with two pneumatic fixture sets (250A-type and 400/630A-type) for instantaneous and time-delay testing, plus a complete long-term test lead package. What is an MCCB Laboratory Integrated Testing Bench?

An MCCB laboratory integrated testing bench is a consolidated test station that verifies the protection characteristics of molded case circuit breakers across three test types that would traditionally require three separate benches. The magnetic trip test applies a high instantaneous current (AC300–10000A) to verify the breaker’s short-circuit tripping behavior; thermal calibration applies a time-delay current (AC100–2000A) to verify the bimetal-based overload characteristic; and long-term calibration applies a sustained lower current (AC100–1000A) for extended-duration verification. The bench operates one function at a time, selected by the operator. For instantaneous and time-delay tests, the breaker is held and contacted by pneumatic fixtures — a 250A-type and a 400/630A-type fixture set are both included as standard. For standard long-term tests, the bench outputs through two 500 mm² copper bars, and the operator connects the supplied test leads manually. Detailed Process Flow

A typical test cycle on the integrated bench runs as follows:

  1. Select the test function – Choose instantaneous, time-delay, or long-time-delay mode (only one function can be used at a time).
  2. Mount the MCCB – Place the breaker in the matching fixture: 250A-type or 400/630A-type.
  3. Make the connection – The pneumatic fixtures contact the breaker automatically for instantaneous and time-delay tests; for standard long-term tests, the operator connects the supplied test leads to the 2 × 500 mm² copper bar outputs.
  4. Run the test – The bench applies the set current within the calibrated range and the trip behavior of the breaker is verified.
  5. Unload and continue – Remove the tested breaker and proceed with the next unit or switch to another test function.
